Attending the CWPL lunch is an amazing experience. To be in a room of women of colour who all want to spread love, joy and positivity is remarkable! As women, especially Caribbean, we often put others needs before our own. Being able to congregate in a beautifully decorated venue and hear other's stories of resistance and journey to self-improvement is truly uplifting. The speakers do a great job explaining the journey that women in the diaspora go through. The road to entrepreneurship is never easy, but hearing stories of how to push through and stay dedicated to your passion gives attendees hope to carry on.
